What is Hypnotherapy ?
Hypnotherapy is a therapeutic technique that integrates hypnosis with various other methods to access the subconscious mind. In the hypnotic state, a person remains aware of their surroundings while being deeply relaxed and more receptive to suggestion and dialogue. This state of consciousness, often likened to daydreaming or being engrossed in a task, allows for a heightened focus and relaxation, quieting the conscious mind, which can be resistant to change.
During hypnosis, you maintain control over your actions and memory, contrary to common misconceptions. This controlled environment enables me, Zoyda Whigh, to work with you to address core issues by applying therapeutic techniques like Gestalt therapy and other experiential approaches. These methods help release entrenched obstacles, outdated beliefs, and negative conclusions that hinder healing.
Hypnosis has been shown to lower blood pressure and heart rate and alter brain wave activity, impacting emotional states. Through hypnotherapy, we explore the interplay of the conscious and subconscious mind, understanding how neural networks formed in early childhood influence our behavior and emotional responses.
By increasing mindful awareness, we enhance the brain's self-regulation abilities, thereby improving emotional regulation, decision-making, and overall well-being. Hypnotherapy allows for the reevaluation and transformation of deep-rooted beliefs, facilitating meaningful and lasting change at a subconscious level.
